What I have found with of us Africans is that, either we are intellectually lazy or lacked critical thinking or just plain scared to be told or proven to us that most of what we have imbibed as far as religious believe is hogwash or cannot stand any basic and proper scientific scrutiny.
When it comes to religion most of us are not ready to listen to a different view or any logical reasoning even though the people who introduced these religions to us are even shifting their grounds and modifying as they go along because researches and introspections are telling them a lot of things in the religious text are not exact and accurate as we once thought.
It looks like we Africans have now become the vanguards of the Judo-Christo-Islamic religions despite having the least knowledge about the history of these cultures- very paradoxical.

Many of us read you for your scientific explanations and when I saw the topic I thought there may be some noxious chemicals in the material that we use to build our burglarproof and you want to warn us about them - lol.
