Look at it well: the speech wasn't all that great. He borrowed things that were not even particularly brilliant. He spent so much time reading other inaugural speeches that he did not know what was his and what was not his. We can all easily imagine him before his computer cutting and pasting. Easily done. Then he spent the rest of the time reading through the speech, tweaking it here and then, and then got confused as to what belonged to him and what did not.
If he had avoided "cut and paste" from the beginning, he would have escaped this predicament.
Most speech writers are young persons appointed for their talent in speech writing, not for their degrees or talents in other things. They must come up with original formulations after the person they're writing the speech for gives them general directions. The president must have a staff of speech writers, not only one person, and for an important speech as the inaugural one, all must work on it tirelessly until they get it right. This excuse of oversight is complete unacceptable. They had weeks to work on this thing.
This guy must go or be redeployed. His apology is not sufficient to keep him on.

Folks,PHD degrees already awarded have been withdrawn from individuals if it has been detected that the work was not original (due plagiarism, academic dishonesty etc) People should stop and ask themselves, if there is any difference between (corruption,plagiarism,and incompentence) the platform upon which Nana won the 2016 elections.
