Hopefully, it's a lesson learnt to you and all future Presidential candidates in Ghana. Use local brains who understand the terrain.
Nana Addo suffered the same fate in his original campaign in 2008 with huge sums of money wasted on all kinds of foreign consultants.
You might think he was just talking to you about politics in general when he met with you last year, but I'm pretty sure he was gauging your understanding of our local politics and he seems to have concluded you weren't worth having on his campaign.
Wish you all the best in your future endeavors and tone down on the accolades for the mega thieves from your country. It seems the bigger the thief, the more loquacious you are in their praise.

A lot of people have gone silent because they see no "percentage" in showing JDM in a good light since he is out of power. Too many with hypocritical and cowardly attitudes. I wish our leaders will be more discerning in knowing who to trust and work with. And to be bold enough to discipline them when they go wrong. After all, the buck stops with them. The perception that JDM was unwilling/unable to sanction lieutenants who were seen to have erred cost him dearly. Going forward, it will be interesting to see how this administration rationalizes its achievements to justify re-election. They may yet reap a whirlwind!

Paradoxically the most important trunk road in Ghana (Accra-Kumasi) remained untouched by JDM. Suhum to Nsawam is a death trap. Mahama dug his own grave!
