One thing, though, I think Kofi was right to initially deny Christmas as about the birth of any historical savior-god to redeem mankind. You failed to tell your readers that 25th December is about the "solar myth" that was common in all ancient religions. If Horus, Bacchus, Krishna, Osiris, Mithra and all the past savior-gods, whose birthdate falls on the winter solstice, that is, December 25th, were mythical figures, then what makes Jesus story real? We're Africans, and need to dig deep into our ancient religion, custom and practices, to determine who we are instead of imbibing some foreign religion. The entire bible stories are based on ancient mythos of the Sumerians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks mixed with astrology.

I was also just like Kofi koda who did not understand the meaning of Christmas as a child. I thought Jesus was more than one cos He was always born on Christmas day....
