These so called critics never mention Kennedy Agyapopng and the people like him who say wicked things about the E.C. Chairman, the President, the most humble man and yet they were left alone to go scot free. People like the writer of this article has bowed to the NPP wicket lies and propaganda.

Perhaps as president, Akufo-Addo may succeed in hiding his arrogance but it doesn't mean it won't still be there.
The thing is that it is easy to become arrogant if you have power over people who come begging you for favors and make you look like god. And in Ghana we like giving fanfoo respect to office holders. When we are calling them excellencies, honorables, yessah yessah, yes madam, why won't they become arrogant?

Our politics has not changed Goldwater Adams; we're the very same nation of people who keep banging our heads against a wall making same mistakes but hoping there will be a change in our luck with the next fatal head bang against a wall.
Ask anyone of our wonderful members who ever served in parliament why they pass laws/statutes that enshrines their wages/salaries benefits and perks and pay attention to their answers if they will. Members of parliament know if they want to continue receiving their wage raise and perks in perpetuity they better pass them into law so no one president or the courts can deny them their perks. So why do you or anyone who was and is of delusional belief that things would have changed under a Mahama administration now think they will change under a Nana Akufo-Addo administration? Changes that strengthen institutions of government and or demands a culture of honesty, integrity and principled reasoning cannot and will never be achieved under an NDC or NPP administrations from here till hell freezes over. You cannot achieve anything meaningful through retribution and the NDC and NPP policies have been driven by acts of retribution either in seeking punishment for presumed wrongdoers or in stealing to enrich themselves.
Did we all not read and listen to a simple minded female Ghanaian actress going around Ghana wanting a Ghanaian singer tared and feathered because she dared campaign for Mahama? Whict parts of her chats and nastiness are within civilized political discourse and which of the NPP executives stopped or could stop her "kokoase" misbehavior when the NPP and NDC elite are themselves wallowing in filth at the gutter level? We will vote again in 4 years or 8 years and I promise that Nana Akufo-Addo is going to steal or allow the people around him to steal in his name knowing he will get his share of the loot after he leaves office. I predict so not because Nana Akufo-Addo is a thief or a bad person but because he has made a lifetime investment to get to the presidency and no one in Ghana can say they have ever seen a president of Ghana leave office poor. None of our duly elected presidents and or military dictators got rich off their presidential or military Revolutionary council salary period. Those who say otherwise are nothing but pots who will piss on your leg and tell you to your face it's raining. Wishful thinking must not be confused with realities and in Ghana our politics of tribal preferences or love of political party over nation is real.
