Ecclesiastical knowledge or religiously derived explanation for the existence of the universe, events and their causes, why things are the way they are, etc., etc., is only one of the 3 sources of knowledge. The other two are the legal-rational derived from rulers, potentates, authorities who made laws, rules and decrees to stipulate certain things. Hammurabi made commandmenst and claimed them as his own. Moses plagiarised them and lied that they were given to him by Yahweh but we know now through research and discoveries the real source!
And this we know through the 3rd most important source of knowledge today: scientific knowledge! It covers a long list of fields of learning, from Arcaheology to Zoology that apply the scientific methodlogy in explaining the cosms and the very things that religion based knoweldge attempts to explain. It is this lack of scientific knowledge and/or its inculcation into Ghanaians from an eaerly age and subsequent lack of acculturation through the socialisation process at a tender age which is at the root of the problem. I believe that God created us in his own image... that's why he gave all of us brains... there's nothing more powerful than the human brain and that's what GOD gifted us with so that individually, we can possess a 'direct line' to him anytime we wanted to 'talk' to Him. Lets grants that the authors claims is valid. Today we saw Prof. Justice Crabbe and other Ghanaians, each doing their possible best to make Ghana and Ghanaians have a better way of living. Undoubtedly no one supports fake prophet and they are a disgrace and a danger to us. This is a known and common fact that every Ghanaian appreciates. It is also true and factual that fake prophets will still be with us from A-America to Z-zimbadwe they will be with us. The question is what has the author done PRACTICALLY to make Ghana better. The author should give his readers how he is putting his christian faith to action to move the kingdom of God forward in Ghana. The author can not just live life anyway - drinking his beer or whisky and going after white, black, drown women in Europe and Americas and turn round to accuse these "fake" prophet for the very acts he grossly indulges in. In short I challenge the writer to put his set his lamp on the top of the table. This idea of criticising without having contributed any thing is a empty, hoax and disgusting. Show us what you have done over the year to differentiate you from fake prophets.
As imperfect as the church may be with all its fake prophets its still the best institution - IF you doubt me try genuine or fake juju men, genuine or fake occults, genuine or fake fetish priest, genuine or fake spiritualist etc etc. We are tired of habitual and full time sinners attacking the church.
