Bravo, Rashid, what a beautiful write up! I wish you had posted this piece a bit earlier - like a week ago. But I am not surprised at all at Nigerians' calmness during elections. I have met and worked with a lot of Nigerians over the years here in UK. Each time these guys talk politics with you, you hardly know which party one or the other belongs to - they condemn all their politicians in general - they make no mention of individual party or personal names. As far as they are concerned, all politicians are thieves (which is absolutely true). But what do we see in Ghana? All party supporters see their favorite parties and politicians as infallible - especially a certain (particular) party supporters.

Ghana is doing it again so Nigeria will follow not the other way round. Ghana's election will set the record for Nigeria and Africa again.

Ghana will surely win if these cardinal lessons from Nigeria are well observed. They are good points of political stability.
