  What has exposing Nana Addo's hidden agenda and hypocrisy got to do with who Haruna Atta is married to and how does that disgrace his children? Are you suggesting that because his wife is Ashanti, he should not speak the truth when the circumstance demands it? Or are you suggesting that speaking the truth and exposing hypocrisy will somehow be a bad example for his kids to follow? Are you also somehow suggesting that all Ashantis are misfits who enjoy unscrupulous behaviour and support any form of dubious enterprise and because Haruna is married to one, he must, by logic, get with the program and endorse duplicity?
  Your comments totally give you away as a proper idiot, the likes of whom Haruna's statements directly expose. To attempt to berate the man in one breath as pandering to ethnocentricism and then in the same breath utter a quintessentially ethnocentric admonition quite frankly exposes you as the worst specimen of Haruna's revelations. It also paints you as a man of no principle who is more interested in promoting questionable convention rather than lasting principle.

  My question is simple, assuming he said that, did Nana Addo tell you he shared that position or he was merely revealing an observation he has made? Can we have a full length of the conversation you had so that we can put it into context? It is possible that Nana Addo was rather lamenting about it rather than holding it as his shared view. You have benefited as an ambassador and your work is at risk and we can't trust you to be honest. I will rather trust the man who has chosen a northener as his running mate...... If that Northerner will end up as leader it will depend on him and the party..... It has nothing to do with Nana Addo. In any case it is not about being motherner but being a good candidate. Aliu Mahama was no threat to Nana Addo which makes it doubtful that Nana Addo will call you Haruna to tell you such stuff.

  But in one second of complete madness, you have destroyed your reputation.
  
  First even if, and it is a big if, NANA Addo had made such a comment to you, he might have done so in the spirit of discussing political realities with a trusted political "brother". Disclosing it in order to attract some of Mahama's election
  largesse shows you to be indeed a political prostitute.
  
  That aside, you did not show the context in which the statement was made. A stark naked statement without context is just that -- stark mad. I can give you several instances in which such a statement could be made and actually constitute sound advice: suppose you were going to waste your time and money supporting someone who. at least in the speaker's view, stood no chance of winning? When you supported Kufuor to win, did you not get collateral benefits? Someone says that you travelled with Kufuor everywhere he went. And you got per diem. Maybe you wanted more and didn't get it. (Though your offspring are supposed to have benefited enormously from your political associations).

They also attempt to justify a reprehensible thought pattern that has oft been repeated by the man you seek to defend and those who claim to be his supporters. I am not surprised by your attempt to discredit Haruna and I have said elsewhere on this platform that I do not like Haruna at all. But you have once again proven the theory true that if it is not in their interest or if it does not innure to their benefit, anything contrary about the NPP, even if it is the truth, is contemptuously waved out of hand and the architect of such a venture is virulently cut to size. That quite clearly is referred to as INTOLERANCE and it cannot live in a civilized society, especially not in a so-called democracy, whether national or partisan.

Take a look at the way the elections of the US were decided. There are southern states that will never vote for a democrat. Just because they are not called Asante or Hausa states, does it mean they are not showing preferences for candidates?

I am a hundred percent Akans,but I hate to see and hear some of the ethnocentric remarks by my fellow Akans. The real culprit of this insanity are just using the general term Akans, to execute their dirty and tribalistic agenda against other tribes. The problem is with two main Akan tribes. They are the Asahtis and the Akyems who think they have complete monopoly on mother Ghana. As a matter of fact, they do it to other Akan tribes as well. It is intersting to know that they are doing same thing here all over europe. So, it,s not a matter of Akans. They are only using the general term, Akans for their wicked Agenda.I,m proud to be an Akan from a decent ethnic Akan background. It,s about time they mention their main towns and villages when they are saying such things. They are disgracing the whole of the Akan tribes. Enough of this insanity. Akufo Addo himself is the worse as well as Osafo Marfo. Why didn,t they mentioned their dirty villages instead of saying Akan? Becasue they want to draw decent Akans into their dirty agenda.
