I hope you are young and a student.I believe our revolution of a change in mind set should start from the campuses.Leadership is not in government only but in all spheres .1 Let us stop stealing from ourselves ,the State owned enterprises 2 Government is not all in all 3 Ghanaians need to group and the invest in projects ie PRODUCTION is the key .4 Explain why Ghana has to IMPORT $1.5bn worth of food annually? 5 What are the Universities doing by way of research to have cheap homes and better agricultural implements 6 Why must we import even tooth picks 7Why allow degradation of farm lands and water bodies because of galamsey, where are our chiefs? I can ask more but I believe these are enough. Over to you the youth Find ways to create employment and create wealth. Where are the Steve Jobs and the Bill Gates of Ghana and Africa .Therein lies our salvation not moribund governments

HIPC and the IMF bailout were absolute reckless adventurism and a classic betrayal of trust by NPP and NDC. The typical Ghanaian politician can be described as either crass ignorant or disgustingly foolish to say the least. Leadership in modern times demands brains and mental acuity, but this cannot be said of JA Kufuor's HIPC and John Mahama's IMF bailout.
There was absolutely no reason for JA Kufuor to take the nation into HIPC and endure the IMF conditionalities, except for the fact that he was an empty headed dunderhead who didn't know much about the art of governance.
If JA Kufuor was a smart person and knew what he was doing during his presidency, he would have stayed farther from the IMF's HIPC as it was IMF's intrusion in Ghana's economy that caused the overthrow of Dr. Busia's government - a government JA Kufuor was part of. But seriously, what country in modern times runs to IMF because of debt? Greece debt-to-GDP ratio is 173.8%, it is not running to IMF for a reprieve. Italy, Portugal, Ireland and other countries have debt burdens over 100% GDP ratio, yet you do not see these countries knocking at IMF's door. But the stupid African leader, the likes of JA Kufuor and the buffoon, JD Mahama, rush to the IMF at any hint of economic stagnation.
Let me make a declaration here in this forum: No Ghanaian who has lived his whole life in Ghana is fit to be President of the country. A look at former Presidents of the country from JJ Rawlings, John Atta Mills, JA Kufuor and John Mahama provide proof. These Ghanaian breeds are absolute antithesis to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Dr. K.A. Busia. You would also find that, except John Atta Mills, the rest are spuriously corrupt to the core.
