I really don't bother my head over the effusions of this Adofo Rockson. I don't even read what he puts out there because it has no substance.
He has so far written two opinion pieces reacting to my take on the kind of politics being done by Akufo-Addo, concentrating on what doesn't defeat my arguments that Akufo-Addo is fighting a lost cause. He is more focused on the sentimental and not the substantial part, which Akufo-Addo is running away from.
Others like Okoampah-Ahoofe have ever taken me on only to learn the lesson that has sent them where they belong. I don't run away from characters of their sort. I have what it tasks to sting them and their sacred cow. Gradually, it will all end up in the polling booth. Then, the grinding of teeth will be their lot. Why not leave them on their leash to go wild, dancing themselves lame before the actual dancing session begins?
I really don't value such characters in any way. They are free not to value me in turn. After all, I didn't look up to them in my quest for the Ph.D, status that makes me what I am. I wish Adofo Rockson will one day attach a Ph.D. to his name so I can congratulate him for making it big!!
For his information, let me say that I have been writing on the Ghanaian and global situation since the mid-1980s and will continue to do so till I drop down dead.
I am not the kind to be cowered by characters of Adofo Rockson's type. I urge him to go back into happenings in his own hometown that he has written on to make himself a bitter enemy of Asanteman.
Flashback: In my service to Ghana, I met with the late Asumadu Sakyi when he was on the throne in that area in those days and can tell why he (Adofo Rockson) is so embittered to churn out such trash about happenings in his own hometown. I wish he would reconcile with his own folks and learn how not to go where he has nothing to harvest.
