I hundred percent agreed with you. It is about time we took the bull by the horn and do what is good for this country. If a country like the US has only two major political parties that rotate between themselves, what prevented a poor country like mother Ghana to do the same? And the answer is simple- Greed and selfishness. All manners of people enter politics in Ghana for ones in reason. -money. Can you image what they take home at the end of one term in that useless so called parliament, as compared to a teacher in the classroom? Sadly, more than three quarters of them have never raised a motion before. Honestly, we need to put a stop to this. Well said.

British democracy is over 500 years and America has been practicing democracy nearly 300 years yet Ghanaians seem to know more about about democracy more than these giants and even Greek themselves who started democracy. But you are you emphasizing too much on Akua Donkor? Is it because she is not lettered? If it is why would the EC disqualified Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama and Dr. Henry Lartey? The EC itself must take the blame for allowing just anybody to register a political party particularly the speed with which Hassan Ayariga's APC was registered! If care is not taking and stringent measures put in place this small country in future will have more political parties and presidential candidates that will be equal the entire population of the country!
