Professor Bokor is not your equal in any way. Why wouldn't your Akufo-Addo step in and end this controversy surrounding his academic training and qualification once and for all? He's definitely hiding something from the Ghanaian electorate about his educational background, especially his claim of being a trained and qualified lawyer, and unless and until you his blind supporters, who surely have something to gain if he becomes president, urge him to come clean, this matter will not go away.
Fact is, some of us know for sure that Akufo-Addo is a very corrupt politician who has no business of being desperate to become president of our country. It would be a tragedy for the whole country if he becomes president.
The ff. is a piece I posted yesterday titled, 'There Are Many Ways of Killing the Cat!' in response to Mr. Asiedu Nketiah's wish that the EC disqualify Akufo-Addo as they did thirteen others:
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, there are so many ways of killing the cat. Akufo-Addo is the most vulnerable politician out there because of his corruption and for that reason alone he has disqualified himself on many fronts, but you people in the other parties are not behaving smartly enough to seize the so many opportunities available to you to go after him. Akufo-Addo has for more than forty years lied to Ghanaians and the whole world that he is a qualified lawyer. As a result of that lie, he served as Ghana's Attorney-General & Minister of Justice and then again as Minister of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration during the Kufuor administration that began in 2001. The only problem with his claim of being a trained attorney is that he has failed to tell Ghanaians and the world precisely which educational institution trained him. All he has said is that his law certificate is missing and you seem satisfied with that.
If you and your NDC as well as the other parties are really serious about his false claim, you can quickly get Akufo-Addo out of contention and possibly have him tried for fraud, no matter what the Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood, a strong and corrupt NPP lady, thinks and does to shield him. Then, of course, there are also numerous corruption allegations made against him, including the accusation of having caused financial loss to the state when he served as Attorney-General & Minister of Justice. This was the charge the Kufuor administration levelled against some NDC ministers who were imprisoned as a result.
The following is a list of some of the corrupt allegations made against Akufo-Addo that I've recently addressed to him and posted on this platform. So, Mr. Nketiah, if you and the other parties are really concerned about the kind of corrupt character who is desperately seeking to become our president, you should investigate these issues seriously and if any is found to be true, it is enough to derail his presidential ambition. He should realise then that he has no business whatsoever to become our president.
Among the most serious corruption allegations against you personally that you Nana Akufo-Addo must address satisfactorily are the following:
1. Like former President Kufuor, you claim to be a lawyer, but you've so far failed to tell Ghanaians where precisely you earned your law degree. We do know that you were kicked out of the University of Oxford and that you returned home and entered the University of Ghana where you earned a mere 3rd class degree in economics. You said your law certificate is missing, but are there not legal ways and means of getting a replacement of your certificate if you did in fact earn it but lose the original?
2. As Attorney-General & Minister of Justice in the Kufuor administration, you oversaw the de-confiscation of your cousin Raymond Amankwah, a noted world cocaine baron's frozen assets and returned them to him. This Amankwah was arrested in Brazil for cocaine trafficking. By de-confiscating and returning his frozen properties to him, you Akufo-Addo enabled him to get away scott-free.
3. As Attorney-General, you in 2001 suddenly discontinued prosecuting one Frank Benneh for drug trafficking, a case that the then NDC's Deputy Attorney-General Mr. Martin Amidu, had started prosecuting vigorously.
4. As Attorney-General, you failed willfully to prosecute three NPP Dzorwulu branch drug queens who had been arrested in February 2002 at the Kotoka International Airport for attempting to export cocaine outside the country. Not only did the case vanish into thin air, but their dockets also mysteriously disappeared from your office.
5. Unlike any other NPP (or their antecedents of UP or Progress Party) leader or potential leader, you Akufo-addo alone have been accused of drug addiction. Why so?
6. As Minister of Foreign Affairs, you issued at least 12 diplomatic passports (which actually were alleged to be missing) to your cronies. In fact, one of those passports was found with a Ghanaian cocaine deader who was arrested in Singapore.
7. The GNPC drill ship saga also hangs around your neck. What happened to the rest of the money from the sale of the ship? Remember, this case was mentioned against you in the Auditor-General's report. You're accused of having caused financial loss to the state.
8. And when the history of the Fourth Republic is written, it will be indicated that it was the Kufuor's NPP administration that turned Ghana into a cocaine hub in the West African sub-region and that you Akufo-Addo were a key player in that administration.
9. Indeed, as a parliamentarian, you Akufo-Addo pushed hard for a law, dubbed "Amoateng Bill", to be promulgated to essentially permit Ghanaian drug offenders jailed in Thailand to be returned to Ghana to serve the rest of their terms. What was your motive?
10. As Foreign Minister during the Kufuor administration, your Ministry withdrew US$1,446,396.00 from its Special Collections Accounts of seven embassies without the prior knowledge and consent of the Controller and Account-General. Also, an amount of US$106,168.00 was misappropriated at the Ghana mission in Cote d'Ivoire
The above are among the pertinent corruption allegations against you Nana Akufo-Addo that you must address. You can't merely ignore them and pretend that you're uncorrupt and incorruptible and so ask us the electorate to vote for you to become president of this dear country of ours. Which country is out there whose citizenry you suppose are so stupid as to ignore that kind of your background and so vote to make you their president? You must not be allowed just to throw dust into our eyes. So, please address these allegations thoroughly and logically, then you may be able to convince us Ghanaians to vote for you and make you our president.

He can come out to conclusively prove that he was properly called to the bar. But it is possible that even that can be difficult to prove even if he was properly called to the bar.
The man and his advisors have calculated that their best strategy is what they are doing now: keep quiet and hold themselves above the fray and the issue will recede in people's minds. If he wins the elections, it will be difficult to unseat him on something that has just been a rumour.
That is why I don't understand why Kwaku Asare re-opened this can of worms, at least on ghanaweb. Asare, an NPP sympathizer, may not be part of Akufo-Addo's inner circle. And the point too is that I don't think even those in his inner circle know the real truth about how he got called to the bar.
Those accusing him too will find it almost impossible to prove their case. They will never find the smoking gun. They can only succeed in sowing suspicion in people's minds.
Perhaps one day, after the man passes on with his secret, someone may come up to say something he knew or heard but has never said out aloud. But Akufo-Addo has probably outlived the one or two persons who actually know the truth.
So, yes, Akufo-Addo is the only one who can clear his own air. But he will never do it. So we are NEVER going to know the truth.
But in this article, Borkor should have kept to the main issue. There was no need his addressing his detractors and those insulting him or assuring us that his own credentials are solid. This issue is not about him. There was also absolutely no need to bring in Mahama's performance. It gives the impression that he's doing this to score political points. Many of us neutrals are just after the truth. Even mang honest people in NPP will also be just after the truth - nothing but the truth!

In my next installment, I have what it will take to pin him down to specifics. I do so with a clean conscience because I wish the best for Ghana in terms of those seeking to rule it.
After the disqualification of the 13 Presidential candidates, leaving President Mahama, Akufo-Addo, Ivor Greenstreet, and Jacob Yeboah to stand tall to attract the voters' attention, anything peculiar about each candidate is worth raising and setting up for adequate scrutiny.
So far, only Akufo-Addo seems to be carrying a heavy baggage that has to do with integrity. If the NPP machine's allegations of corruption and incompetence against President Mahama are anything to take up, we must equally be invested in knowing how Akufo-Addo became what he has prided himself on all these decades, more so when ugly traces left behind by him prove that he is not what he has been parading himself to be all along.
We will continue probing the matter until we find the closure that will prove him to be what he should be for his own good or Ghana's bad.

Since Akufo-Addo has adopted the strategy of ignoring all the challenges issued to him to come clean about his claim of being a trained and qualified attorney, it's up to the Ghanaian press to mount pressure on him to do so. But they too seem gullible and timid and are not doing their work properly. They have so far let him off the hook. It's basically because the Ghanaian press has failed to play it's critical role that Akufo-Addo has fooled us thus far. How shameful! Can the American press let a presidential candidate like Akufo-Addo get away with that kind of fraud for so long?
Another forum where pressure can be brought to bear on Akufo-Addo is during the presidential debates. But so far I'm not hearing anything about whether or not such debates are going to be conducted. When such debates are conducted, it's incumbent upon Akufo-Addo's opponents, like President Mahama, for instance, to point-blankly ask him where he trained as a lawyer and received the certificate that he claims is missing. In the last debates four years ago, even though this matter of Akufo-Addo's claim of being a lawyer and the numerous corruption allegations against him were known and raised in the public domain, President Mahama didn't take advantage of that and raised them during the debates. (Or, was it because he felt he himself wasn't clean enough and so was afraid he'd be exposed himself if he raised questions about his opponent's flaws?). How Akufo-Addo answers that kind of question will be interesting indeed. To be sure, he can no longer adopt the strategy of keeping mute over this matter. He must be forced to answer and the moderator(s) can't shield him.

Akufo-Addo has a lot to explain. He may be satisfied that he has all these years been protected by the mafia that he is lucky to have at his disposal. And he may be lucky to have ignorant fools supporting him. But no condition is permanent.
Probably, by forcing his will on the people of Ghana, he is gradually leading himself to the slaughter house. When that moment dawns, he will look back to realize that all those supporting him all these years have rather been helping him ditch himself.
What the likes of Dr. Bokor and Co. are doing is to help Akufo-Addo retrace his steps and come clean. He has for long enjoyed the benefit of heritage. He has been living in his father's house at Nima all these years, having sold much of what his father left behind to pursue a futile political goal.

You're doing a really good job exposing Akufo-Addo's lies concerning his educational background.
We the Ghanaian electorate have every right to know the backgrounds of all the candidates who want us to elect them to become president of our country. Akufo-Addo's claim of being a trained lawyer is dubious and must therefore be probed as you're doing. That's why some of us applaud you for your excellent analysis. In the final analysis, it's our country Ghana that gains or suffers, depending upon what your investigations reveal.
Please keep it up. The truth must win sooner rather than later. Isn't it shameful and a disgrace to the country Ghana that former President Kufuor also claimed to be a lawyer, but like Akufo-Addo nobody knows where he trained to become a lawyer and yet we've allowed him to become our president for eight years?. The only difference between Kufuor and Akufo-Addo is that the former didn't register with the Ghana Legal Council; in other words, he was not called to the Ghana Bar.

Why has he left gaps in years all over his CV? The last time I scrutinized that CV, I puked!!
There are many questions about the missing gaps. He hasn't, for instance, been bold enough to state anything about Oxford of lancing. Neither has he been able to close the gap between when he got enrolled at the Inns of Court at the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1969 (even with a terribly criminal falsification of the first university degree of B.SC. in Economics with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Ghana.
Unless he proves that at the time that he graduated from the university of Ghana,Legon, in 1967 with that 3rd class in Economics that field was categorized under the Bachelor of Arts programme, he has a tall question to answer.
The question, then, is: What certificate from the university of Ghana did he present to the authorities of the Inns of Court of the Middle temple to warrant his being admitted into that reputable institution?
Clearly, he must have presented a certificate awarded him by the authorities of the University of Ghana. If he graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics (which he boldly stated on the nomination form for the Presidential elections in 2008, 2012, and 2016), what does the declaration that he was entering the Middle temple with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 1`969 tell us?
Folks, the evidence is in his own documents.A lot of headache for him, even before we gop beyond that point to question what he studied to become whatever he has projected himself to be all these years!!
I am still teasing out the intricacies and will come out with more revelations soon. Let his attack dogs sharpen their teeth to bite themselves, not me!!

We the Ghanaian electorate have every right to know all the backgrounds of all the candidates, including Akufo-Addo, who're contesting to become our president. It's because of ignorant and stupid characters like you who've been senselessly defending Akufo-Addo that he's been able all these years to fool us with his lies about his academic qualifications. And now that you're concerned that the truth about him is about to be revealed and he'll be exposed, you're desperate, trying to divert attention from the main issue by raising irrelevant questions.
