While people are spitting fires of hatred and divisiveness among us on Ghanaweb, this article prescribes a formula for us to take very critical look at ourselves to achieve better nation building and couldn't have come at a better time because it is very depressing reading people's views on Ghanaweb these days since most of what we are presented with are just insults and name calling, particularly from our so-called PhDs.
But one can see from this article that all is not lost yet.

The author and ex-British military man should do us all a favor and go knocking on the doors of the foreign nations who believe they are Gods-gift to wisdom and thus covertly and overtly influence politics in Africa for their own selfish reasons.
We are where we are in Ghana, stuck at the bottom of development pole, because of the peddling of false hopes by outsiders who engineered and funded the 1966 coup; anyone who knows better knows Ghana has never recovered from the 1966 day of infamy. Today Ghana is divided along tribal lines than ever before because the very tribes who were collaborators with outsiders and did consider any and all things achieved under Nkrumah as bad or colossal waste of money do bind together as the NPP. Yet the fight continues some 50+ years later with no end in sight when the economy of Ghana will ever be better to fund growth and development. Hypocritically and shamelessly we have the NPP and NDC talk about a bad Ghana economy and have been saying so since February 1966. And yet each election cycle in Ghana since 1966 has brought us foreign influence peddling via flow of pennies into our beggars tin cup diplomacy.
