Furthermore the petitioner -NPP cold not prove their case. Ghana's democracy (like any developing country) is still In its infancy stage and needs time to grow. Its very sad that people like the writer of this article, who should no better, do ignore the fact and truth of practical realities on the ground. That is no matter what Ghanaians say, our electoral system needs time to develop and improve. ITS ALWAYS WRONG THEREFORE TO COMPARE GHANA WITH ANY DEVELOPED COUNTRY. And the this writer should know that! Its nonsensical & idiocy for anyone to expect that Ghana's electoral process will be same as that of the developed nations - expecting or hoping that we can produce same results at the moment, simply because about 500 years of their electoral experience can in no way be compared with Ghana's 24 years process. How people like you don't get this seriously baffles some of us.
2000 & 2004. saw the NPP winning elections and Ghana peacefully changing government under the able leadership of Dr Aferi Gyan. Should you take time to understudy Ghana's Electoral Commission's operational structure, you will know that ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE CHAIRPERSON ALONE TO RIG THE ELECTION (WITH THE OTHER DIRECTORS).
Its sheer ignorance for anyone to believe and talk about the EC rigging elections. All election frauds in Ghana are carried out at the various voting and collation centers AND NOT AT THE STRONG ROOM OF THE EC. PLS WAKE UP.
