Stop throwing dust into our eyes and better put on a proper thinking cap from the Central gravity of your brains and stop this trash.

China, Cuba and North Korea have free education with all the learning resources provided by the state. China is now the second strongest economy in the world. U.S. citizens go to Cuba for certain medical services that are not available in the U.S. North Korea is a super power country which the U.S. can not walk over. Badu it looks like you are in the world, but you do not look up, thus does not know anything about developments around you. Even you do not know what British education is about.

This writer seem to have an inbred hatred for anything Ghana. In most of his writings, he uses England as a yardstick for disparaging our country, which is a bit shortsighted. 'In England this... and in England that...' It is important to remember that England has been at this game since Magna Carta. Also important to remember is that the two countries have different national budgetary constraints. 'The one size fits all' isn't valid here.
If K. Badu wanted to make a case for free education in Ghana, then a better barometer for comparison would have been the countries in Northern Europe: Norway, Sweden, Finland and Germany with free education.
Ghana and most third world countries
have a lot of work to do in this regard, if our leaders will have their act together. But enough of this: 'in England this...and England that.'

You are being unfair on Mr Badu. Hasn't President Mahama is claiming to have introduced free education and the NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo proposed to introduce free education if voted to power? So where lies the fairness on your upbraiding of the author?
Plus, your suggestion that the author should desist from using England as a cynosure and rather use the Northern European countries as a yardstick in his analysis of free education is preposterous.

Mugabe, if you google 'countries with free education', you'll find that all the countries I mentioned have free education, right up to graduate school. England does not, which is OK too but it was wrong for Mr Badu to use UK data in his analysis since the title of his article includes ..."seek free education and critical thinking."
