I am of the believe that the title of your article is misleading unless your are coming out with other causes of knee pain in adolescents.
Knee pain could be inherently be coming from the knee as in Osgood-Schlatter disease, Sinding-Larsson disease or Jumper's knee.
It could also be what is termed referred pain. Yes referred pain from pathologies in the hip like SLIPPED CAPITAL FEMORAL EPIPHYSIS, avascular necrosis of the hip or even from the lower back.
