It appears to me that most of our parliamentarians do not deserve to be in the August house. Sam Okujeto couldn't have said it better when he opined that people who know next to nothing are calling the shots in Ghana. Well, that is what you get when you vote clueless Mahama(our kind of Donald Trump) - whose only strength is his ability to speak the Queen's language - as your president. Dr. Atuguba should blame himself for being part of this incompetent administration. Those who have ears must listen. Ghana Muntie!

Fake Ga name "Nii Teiko",
There are many honourable people supporting the NDC and the Mahama regime just as there are equally many scoundrels supporting the NPP. So why must Dr R blame himself for working for a govt he identifies with but is bold enough to write and disagree with that govt's continuation of the panyarring of Ghanaians to white people the Kufuor regime started?
Do you agree with what he wrote? If you do, then you should be among the few NPP supporters who are supporting the Campaign against this monstrous Bill pro-NPP NGOs and CSOs being chaperoned by ACEP, bankrolled by Star Ghana and DFID to be going around deceiving Ghanaians to support? Blame game won't help anyone - NDC, NPP, CPP, PPP, Maame Donkor, Kwame Attia, Kokuga Agbedefu, or Kwame Abreberese. NPP started and it and has been very silent on the main issue of Production Sharing Agreement, as they want to continue what they started.
Yes, the MPs are clueless on many issues, including this oil matter. So too are many degree wielding Ghanaians, some with even PhDs, real or bought from one of those diploma mills that advertise on Ghanaweb too. The general level of ignorance being displayed by even those directly charged with framing the Bill in the Ministry of Petroleum is so stupendous it can only be described as a scandalous criminal negligence! And, of course, have all of them arraigned before a court of competent jurisprudence for causing financial loss to Ghanaians!
But let us rally together and stop them (the govt, the MPs from both sides of the house)from causing us further losses! Over $6bn gone already!

HEPATIC DISEASE(DISEASE OF THE LIVER) 0572174551
Liver disease is any disturbance of liver function that causes illness. The liver is responsible for many critical functions within the body and should it become diseased or injured, the loss of those functions can cause significant damage to the body. Liver disease is also referred to as hepatic disease.
Liver disease is a broad term that covers all the potential problems cause the liver to fail to perform its designated functions. Usually, more than 75% or three quarters of liver tissue needs to be affected before decrease in function occurs.
The liver is the largest solid organ in the body; and is also considered a gland because among its many functions, it makes and secretes bile. The liver is located in the upper right portion of the abdomen protected by the rib cage. It has two main lobes that are made up of tiny lobules. The liver cells have two different sources of blood supply. The hepatic artery supplies oxygen rich blood that is pumped from the heart, while the portal vein supplies nutrients from the intestine and the spleen.
Normally, veins return blood from the body to the heart, but the portal vein allows chemicals from the digestive tract to enter the liver for "detoxification" and filtering prior to entering the general circulation. The portal vein also efficiently delivers the chemicals and proteins that liver cells need to produce the proteins, cholesterol, and glycogen required for normal body activities.0572174551

Fair to say that Dr. Raymond A. Atuguba's article represents a positive and significant development for the Fair-Trade Oil Share Ghana (FTOS-Gh/PSA) Campaign/Petition.
It has now come to our attention that Dr. Atuguba's paper was first published in the print edition of the Daily Graphic Wednesday, 27 July. However, circumstances surrounding the publication suggest an effort at sabotage by the editors of the Daily Graphic.
1. The Editors at Daily Graphic neglected to include "Atuguba", Dr. Raymond Akongburo ATUGUBA's last name. (We surmise that this is not an error).
2. That article published just last week Wednesday, 27 July, was dated Wednesday, 27 June. (If the reader in Ghana has a copy of the edition of Wednesday, 27th July, can they confirm that "Wednesday, 26 June appears throughout the more than 50 pages of the edition? Or, was it just Dr. Atuguba's paper that had the wrong date.
3. The editors at the Daily Graphic deleted the final paragraph(s) at the end of the paper, being that direct message all those "...MP who votes in favour of the current monstrous and unprogressive Petroleum Bill in Parliament...".
READ:
"Our Dear MPs…Listen to your hearts…
Do not listen to your heads, chests, stomachs, hands, feet…And do the right thing for yourselves, for your children and for Ghana…Otherwise we will be constrained to vote you out…We need every Ghanaian to commit today that any MP who votes in favour of the current monstrous and unprogressive Petroleum Bill in Parliament will not be returned to Parliament come 7th November or 7th December, and definitely come 7th January..."
NOTE: We will also observe here that the Daily Graphic has never published any of our numerous papers on the subject. In fact, the editors asked for payment before they would publish any paper by the FTOS-Gh/PSA National Coordinator and Subject Matter Expert (SME).
This is how we will end this comment.
On the other side, on a matter not as important, Dr. Karikari says no serious president will pardon the Mugabe-Trio now sentenced to 4 months in prison for threats made vocally on radio.
In this case, we will say that "NO SERIOUS MP (OR PRESEDENT) WHO LOVES GHANA AND HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN PERSONALLY, ILLEGALLY, AND HAS NO INTENTION OF CARRYING KOSMOS-TULLOW WATER BARRELS, WILL LEND THEIR NAME AND SIGNATURE TO THE BILL AS IT IS CURRENTLY WRITTEN.

And this how I shall continue it....
Indeed, that's how they behave, expecting the Campaign to place as paid advert costing 1000s of cedis rejoinders and informational articles debunking the lies from the powers-that-be they freely published!
As a matter of fact, even the SRC of some years back at Legon wanted to take money before they organise the student body to listen to a free lecture on the Oil and Gas Agreement impasse! It is all money, money, money!
As for briefing the Nananom and Torgbiwo, na another wahala ooO! In one particular region, GIGS was requested to book hotel for three days (Friday to Sunday)meals inclusive and take care of the T&T of the august invitees. Needless to say this couldn't happen.
Meanwhile, the Oil Lobby, which has set those standards, freely bus, accommodate, wine and dine them at special disinformation get-togethers, with per diem added for good measure! Of courses, with promises of goodies to follow.
When it comes to the journalists, "soli" must be paid at any press conferences arranged. The Oil Lobby not only pay the soli but upped the ante, with paid for courses, home and abroad, for the journalists. 60 were in the first batch cutting across all the main media in Ghana which have been receiving funds from the Oil Lobby through their surrogate NGO Star Ghana which is spraying money like confetti in Ghana.
Listening to ABN relay of MyJoy news a couple of weeks ago, I heard them thanking Star Ghana for sponsoring the training of so-called "rural journalists".
At this very moment, ACEP, a major conduit for Oil Lobby money in Ghana, to the extent of being on even the DFID budget for a six figure sum in £ss, out of the £29m influence buying "aid" to Ghana, is purportedly running "six month crash course in oil gas equivalent to a Masters's degree" for some selected journalists. First lesson on PSA was that it is investor unfriendly and only adopted by old petroleum producing countries, bold lies, untruths not supported by the facts, which GIGS and the FTOS-GH Campaign has exposed and refuted many times!
That's how Oil Money is already debasing our Ghanaian society, beginning by buying up the silence of the media in Ghana and then the key gate keepers in officialdom. With the dollars now flowing in Tullow's so-called Corporate Responsibility Funds doling out 100s of millions of dollars a year already, we are doomed if we sit down further and allow them to pass this monstrous bill.
It appears to me that most of our parliamentarians do not deserve to be in the August house. Sam Okujeto couldn't have said it better when he opined that people who know next to nothing are calling the shots in Ghana. Well, ...
