A law professor and a tax expert in a developing country, how could Mr. Mills have presided over a discombobulated and disjointed tax system as vice president under Rawlings (1997 to 2000), then as President from 2009 to 2012? Ghana has no tax policy, even though we had a tax expert at Flagstaff House. How Ironic!
Seriously, I would like to know the specific contribution Mr. Mills made to this country in the three years as vice president of Ghana between 1997 and 2000, and then later as President. He may have fixed the revenue leakage at our ports of entry, but would that be worth the 6 years he has been in a powerful position in government?
What specific achievement is synonymous to President Mills? ZILCH!!! We are a society that elevates people high to the stratosphere without merit. We say he is a professor therefore he is above and beyond criticism - he knows everything. We also say, because he is a professor or holds a phd. he must be a leader. Now we have losers like Bawumia strutting their stuff on a campaign trail, and representing themselves as the panacea for all economics ailment.

This is what the writer of this article wrote:
"Many have wondered why the late President, a man of great knowledge, allowed himself to be manipulated like a child. Heeding the advice of his handlers at the detriment of his heath was childish, to say the least."
Now go back and check your dictionary.
Inefficacious refers to the theme of the point I made. He was a tax expert as vice president and President in a developing nation, but presided over a discombobulated and disjointed tax system - the word inefficacious here means, he could not produce the desired result as a tax expert. Got it?
"Deficient in leadership qualities" shouldn't be too difficult for you to understand in the context of my posting. Maybe, I should help you out here, as many of you who frequent this website are cognitively adrift. Deficient means not having the specified quality or expertise for the position one occupies. No matter how you slice it, President Mills was certainly not a leader. Got it?
I thought you were intelligent enough to understand these simple standard words. I could be wrong because in the godforsaken country of ours, Ghana, nothing should be taken for granted.

You are a nation-wrecker: don't use politics if you indeed wish to extol the memory of our dearly beloved and hugely missed ASUMDWE-HENE.
