Our problem in Africa has to do with the fact that we don't have our own theoretical mythology or an idea.
Mythological wise, most of us are either christian's or Muslims. Ideoligical wise, we are domcrats, socialist or cumminism. All these aforementioned ideologies/ attributes are not authentically africans. This is the reason why we are lagging behind in terms of political, social and economical development.
All our leanerd, the so called professors and all our men of God, the so called prophets, pastors, Mallam or Sheik are nothing but a copycat/fake. You see, don't be proud of something or anything which is not yours.

No, I think Africans have their own mythology. The thing is, our ancestors do not see religion as equally political like other races. And unfortunately, now that we were overpowered by others politically, their mythology has been ours.
But the point of piece is that it is not the mythology that is actually solving problems for them. They switched to political reality and science. That Africans should do likewise.
And in so doing, our leaders would better our lives economically. When that is done, our lives would matter as we might be controlling and making important political decisions that have international consequences.

Ever since slavery time, Blacks anywhere they are on the planet, have been mythology-less. They are using the mythologies of others, succumbing totally in the process to their weltanschaungen, spiritually, psychologically, politically, economically, & sociocuturally.
An authentic education to buttress Black weltanschaung would definitely help us in fashioning our own perspective.
