The abundance and over reliance on Christianity in most of Africa is as a result of our inability to solve our problems, we therefore look up to God for things when we run out of ideas so extreme religiosity and superstition are a direct result of our failures and inability to think.
So churches everywhere in africa just like corruption and mismanagment and conflicts all over the continent are a by product of our failures. The African was already an overtly superstitious being long before the arrival of the European and the Arab.

You're the ignorant kind believing everything scientist spew out there, trusting in their dating systems (carbon, etc). The dates they assigned to those so called fossils are only in the figment of their immagination, their own assumptions, their own paradigms. You can choose to believe if you so wish and the Christian also has got a choice in believing his God and his Spirit and Son and you're in your right to call it myths, who cares.
You can only tell the age of an item, organism when that thing first came into existence - birth or made if you like (since you're phobic of creation). Who was there when these so called fossils first came into existen until their demise to be accroded them such phantom and rediculous years of age?
Now tell me: what did Christianity done to stop your brothers and sisters in Africa from using their endowed brains and faculties in being creative and innovative. Does Christianity promote its adherents to gleefuly become poor and lazy. Go and read well and understand the Bible contents and contexts in which the various stories and admonisions were written. Open your eyes and ears and think intelligently, intuitively and of course spiritually to understand.

Of course, a few more knowledgeable ones will use some of the arguments in this article that I refute. But what you can learn from this experiment is that most Christians don't know why they should believe that the Bible is God's word.

Most African leaders do not take advantage of the disciplining & uniting power of Christianity, they have allowed superstition to engulf them as they rely on fake Christian leaders to guide them.
