The problem is government expenditure. The government expenditure since 1992 continue to expand because everything is free. Free petrol did government workers, free electricity, free rent free free free.

The problem is government expenditure. The government expenditure since 1992 continue to expand because everything is free. Free petrol did government workers, free electricity, free rent free free free.
Every government adds more government employees via the civil service. Government workers who hardly do any productive work are always in aluta mode.
In essence the Ghana government has become a parasitic organism that continue to suck the nation dry. Meanwhile the loans taken by government are wasted through kickbacks and frivolous things. And yes the opposition are not going to change it because they too are waiting for their turn to enjoy freebies.
Until the nation starts to force all government workers to earn their keep this situation will continue.
