Fellow Ghanaians, don't let anyone fool you...Dumsor in Ghana is not going to end anytime soon, no matter which party is in power and no matter who our head of state is, and you can take that to the bank! Things are not going to change and until we rethink our energy sources, we are forever doomed. We need to add green energy: wind and solar---which by the way we've plenty of; of course the initial capital outlay may be greater but the benefits and payoff times sure beats fossil fuel. And oh yes...we can throw in nuclear power into the mix of preferable energy sources but that energy source comes with its own headaches and you don't have to look far beyond the not-too-long ago tsunami-induced nuclear disasters in Japan to know that.
So back to Fabi's outrageous arguments about sulphur content of the different grades of crude oil. And our learned Petroleum Engineer/Chemical Engineer Fabi falls on his face right into the traps of his own argument: "let it be known to Ghanaians that Ghana's new-found oil is a resource that is mixed with a lot of gas. The gas is separated from the oil and flamed. That which cannot be flamed is pumped back into the earth." Oh yeah? And what would the horsepower of this massive pump/s be?
Perhaps, Fabi's engineer friends can save him from his misery by giving him a tutorial on oil refineries; it will do him some good and so will it for the rest of us.

when ignoramuses like you try to debunk a solid argument, you sound just like the flatulating balloon that Fadi described your NDC lot with.

Incognito, those adjectives you hauled at me don't describe me. But I take them with grace and humility. And please get this in your head: I don't belong to the NDC. I just believe Nov. 7 is so critical in our history and this happens to be the time to give our fellow Ghanaians credible reporting and supportive facts. Insults alone wouldn't cut it and after hauling all those deriding adjectives, the least you could do was to tell me some of the facts I got wrong. Scare tactics isn't the route to winning at the ballot box. Facts, my friend, would win any day...facts! And next time, try to be true and fair to yourself... and to the rest of the country for that matter. Oh yes...please do a fact check of Fabi's points. You may very well be horrified out of your wits.
