What you call 'copy and paste' about Kwarteng is an honest effort to preempt the kind of lies that the likes of you often use to discredit his contributions. He only provides the original products of his fact-finding research that many are lazy to do so that your lies would be exposed.
If you call Obiri Yeboah's comment as only a metaphor, I'd also like 'to put it to you' (your phraseology) that there is a rational precedent for Kwarteng to take it as literal as you perceive his to be.
The antes of Obiri Yeboah's political persuasion were the ones who attempted to derail our quest for Independence by going to London to pursuade the Brits, our Colonial subjugators, to hold on to power and deny us Independence.
Therefore, Kwarteng has every justification to take Obiri's assertion literally, however absurd that proposition sounded. It is the likes of Obiri who cannot see us capable of fixing our problems, no matter who is in charge of governance in Ghana. The Obiri Yeboahs cannot tolerate anyone else outside their corrupted political mentality to be eligible to rule Ghana expertly. That is an indictment of even his own Party and political idols, including the Akyem Mafia don, Akufo-Addo.
The corruption in the current administration is abhorrent but we need to concede that it is not unique to the NDC in our Fourth Republic. And the bolder we are to call out all crooked Politicians across Party boundaries the better Ghana has the chance to redeem herself.

This phoney Kwarteng rightly repeated the words of Nana Obiri Boahen like this"We have a long way to go as as a country.I weep for Ghana.If that type of mediocre leadership can't stop,i prefer the leadership.Everything is in a mess under this leadership".
Please dear reader help me out here for after reading that coted statement,I don't see where the person who made it is calling for the return of colonial rule.
Isn't there a clear difference when one says if this type of mediocre leadership can't stop,then i prefer the colonial leadership than saying bring back colonial leadership?
For Kwarteng to twist this and go about hurling insults and accusations only explains why Ghana is making no progress.
Please nobody should misunderstand me for as a true believer in freedom of speech i respect the opinions of others but when some people make it a habit of being prejudice and only interested in peddling falsehood and misleading utterances just to discredit and tarnish others reputation is what i have problem with.
To my understanding,Nana Obiri Boahen made a comparing statement and for anybody to misquote it and make a stupid political capital of it to throw insults around must be counted.
Despite all the name callings,no any sound person can claim that after almost sixty years of so called independence,and declaration by their mentor Kwame Nkrumah that "after all the black man is capable of managing his own affairs "which they unashamedly fond of quoting,is the case.
Mere talking and casting insults while blaming and attacking others is leading Ghana to nowhere except causing more miseries.
These who people who keep discribing Nkrumah as great,messiah or whatever forget or will never accept that Ghana's current predicaments started with him for bankrupting the country with his bad governance which has been carried through by the successive governments except the Progress Party and NPP whicheck together ruled for ten and half years.
I just wish before these hate filled bigots start their name callings,they take note of that.Only fools boast of a meaningless project like independence which has brought only pains and chaos.
