I was definitely frightened, but when I got to the witches camp, I was taken aback by the hardwork of the so-called witches, who were busily cracking heaps of Shea butter nuts to make shea butter Nkuto.
Met the affable head of the camp, Yaya Wuni, who explained what the women were doing.
The scholars wondered why the women are called witches, and questioned why there are no men at the camp. Unashamedly, I had a lot to explain to my colleagues.
