HOW? BY GIVING THEM TO OLDER MEN WHO HAVE MONEY. WITHOUT ADEQUATE PARENTAL CONTROL, THE UNDERAGED COULD ALSO FALL PREY TO THEIR PEERS WHO, HAVING DROPPED OUT OF SCHOOL OR FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO PROGRESS AFTER JSS OR SSS, MAY WANT TO KILL TIME BY USING THE YOUNG GIRLS TO SATISFY THEIR LIBIDO AFTER FEASTING ON SENSUAL MATERIAL. GET THE RIGHT SOCIAL STRUCTURES IN PLACE TO ENGAGE OUR YOUNG AND THE PROBLEM WOULD BE HALF SOLVED. ENOUGH OF LEGAL EFFUSIONS WHICH, MOST OF THE TIME, ARE MERE HOT AIR.

Human beings are complex animal. I was twelve years old when a girl of eight years in the village requested me to follow her and see something in an uncompleted building. When we entered the building she remove the red material she was wearing an lied down with her critores erected,moving up and down, and when it torches the mouth of her vagina makes an inviting noise.
She looked me in the face with eyes that look sleepy and invited me to have sex with her. Her invitation was laud that a man passing by the back of the building heard it and rushed into the uncompleted building. I told her to put the material back in place held her hand and we got out of the building with the man watching our back.
As we were going back to the compound where she invited me from she told me that my beauty has spread as bush fire in all the district and she was in the village visiting her aunt as an excuse to have an intimacy with me. She bid me goodbye the next day and was gone.
The arranged marriage I saw as a child was between two relatives all in their early twenties. But when I came to Accra what happens is that you see a girl in her tens covering her face when she sees know men in the the house. After a few days she get missing. Her patents will search for her for days and after that someone will whisper to them that he or she saw her coming out and entering a man's room.
The parents will go and threaten the man with arrest if he does not marry their daughter. The girl though young was no heat when she entered the man's room knowing or not knowing what sex is. So on the first day she has already taken seed. The man is told to bring his relatives to come and perform the traditional knocking ceremony because those were days when there were few Christian priests and there was nothing like wedding. I saw all my female relatives going into marriage that way. The youngest of them gave birth to eleven children with the man who stole her virginity who dead three years ago. The eldest of them had ten children with the man who she saw covered her face entered into his room and he removed her hands from her face who passed away six weeks ago. I have eight women relatives with whom I lives with my aunt as a child and to date I relate to them as my biological sisters.
Still in Accra my mother was a trader who was out of the house during the day and comes back after 7:00 p.m. in the evening. I had no friend and most of the time I sat in front of our rented hall and chamber and watch what goes round as girls from the early age of 12 who sell banana, orange and groundnut goes in an out from the rooms of men. I have seen some of them die as a result of illegal abortion and use to ask myself is sex a crime and why at this age girls and women should suffer insult and death because they have eaten the fruit in the center of the garden.
Whiles on vacation in 1972 a niece of ours who lost the mother came to pay a visit and refused to leave. On the third day she took all my begging. laid them and invited me to sleep with her. There was a niece who had seed with my brother and was living in the same room with me who cautioned me not to water seed that someone else has planted. I refused to lay with the girl and after a week I woke up to see that my blanket and bed sheets that she was using to entice me to having sex with her were blooded. My niece attempted abortion and I have to take her to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, but to my rescue came her aunt also on a visit.
Let us educate women on early sex, but not prevent them from having early marriage when they eat the fruit in the center of the garden. Teenagers who are pregnant need the help and loving kindness of society more than ever and that was what I did for my niece when she found herself in that condition. When a person by mistake takes a poisoned food we do not beat him or her, but cure them, council them on how to keep away from poisoned food and not from food.
The matter is that female animals have sex when they are matured and are on heat. As soon as they are pregnant they need sex no more until they deliver and got on heat again.
Female Homo sapiens are different category of animal, thus is the male that they have more appetite for sex when the female is pregnant.
Though there is a price to pay for defilement, yet there are cases when some girls want to be defiled by a man. That is why the law of consent was introduced by society to force the man to refuse what the girl requested for. So the law said the person who penetrates the other is he guilty party. But when a man has a noisy erected critores right in front of hims what should he do. I once run to a woman to inform her that her daughter has erected her critores before me and some ginger was inserted into her womanhood. That girl should be above fourteen years old because as she lay there on the bed and invited me her womanhood was wet. It looks like society has not have grip of human sexual behaviour and the sexual urge of the young female.

Marriage and sex are two different things. Setting a minimum age for sex is one thing but whether you are matured enough to marry is another. In England you are old enough to join the army at 16 but you can't drink before 18. ... read full comment

It's not easy to determine what is right sometimes.Every option will have its weakness.
