We understand that the Parliament of Ghana, acting in its authority as the voice of Ghanaians, suddenly withdrew the so-called "Ghana-Hybrid System" bill, known as Petroleum Exploration and Production (E&P) bill of 2014, a law they've been intending to pass but for strident opposition by Civil Society Groups, and Ghanaians in general.
That being one of the core demands of GIGS and the Fair-Trade Oil Share Ghana(FTOS-Gh) campaign, we of the FTOS-Gh Campaign, are today declaring VICTORY, pending receipt and review of the "new", updated law they (Speaker Doe-Adjaho and his colleagues) now call Petroleum Exploration and Production (E&P) 2016.
(Get update using this link:
www.ghanahero.com/DiasporaNews.html/
Naturally, our thanks to all who are assisting with this important matter, especially those who took 2 minutes of their time to sign the Petition with their email address at Change.Org:
Therefore, pending receipt of a copy, and review, of "new" Petroleum Exploration and Production (E&P) 2016 by the FTOS-Gh Campaign, supporters who have not yey signed the petition can still do so, at:

I knew that you'd continue in your moronic attempt to make me famous, infamous or notorious, whatever it is that's in your mentally warped mind, even though I had already told you that I don't need your help to achieve at all. I am already all that and shall be more by the time I am half way finished through the likes of you and your sordid ethnocentric ilk. So, I have a response ready for you. I am begging you to continue using my names to write nonsense against my friends, family and who it pleases you to. Be the John the Baptist crying in the wilderness for me.
Btw, did you read that we in the FTOS-GH Campaign have just succeeded in getting the govt to withdraw the obnoxious Hybrid Bill in its current form? But we are not relenting in getting the govt to adopt PSA in its place. We can do it if you can apply the little time you have to sign Petition and lobby your MP not to support any Bill that is not based on the PSA. Remember, Ghana has lost over $6bn based on the old Royalty System in use for the Jubilee Field.

NOT A SHREAD OF A SUSSAGE.
Lee's Economic Transformation Plan had no room for talkers let alone opposition.
Lee came from Oxford to take NO PRISONERS.He had a program to run and he kept the train on track. There was no Media, and NO OPPOSITION,
To achieve his Economic Goals,he believed Singapore had to go through A STAGE OF COMPULSION..
.Under Lee, MATEMEHO would have been squashed like a BUG.
Freedom of Speech(and MATEMEHO) comes after a nation has succeeded in their Economic Development.
Compared to Lee Kwan Yew,s NO NONSENSE
Admnistration,Nsawam's Protective Custody, was a play ground.
That,my friends,is what differentiates Lee Kwan Yew from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah....and that's why we are still live in a swamp.
That's why we are still far behind as a Race.
That's why Ghanaians STILL travel to fetch the family water on their heads
There is no 1st WORLD today that did not go through a stage of compulsion(to get to where they are today).
So,I challenge all those Nkrumah bashers out there to prove me wrong
and to tell Ghanaians what WE have achieved as a Nation since Post-1966.
We are a nation of TALKERS AND ACCUSERS.

UNMISGUIDED AFRICAN CHILD,
Thanks for the comments.
We agree.
We have to be very careful, though, so we do not carry the water for coup plotters and the Kwabena Yeboahs.
We want to add that Nkrumah was up to the task of dealing with the Matemehos and nation wreckers. He did that firmly, and effectively.
But, as we argue in part in the series, it was actually the US Government (Johnson and his CIA) that decided they wanted Nkrumah out, and so they recruited the coup plotters.
One of the reasons in the official record is, they did not want to allow Nkrumah the credit for the Akosombo Dam. The other was, they could not control Nkrumah, like they could, the Liberians, for example. And of course, Nkrumah was only wanting to be independent, as we would expect of the the late great Muhammad Ali.
Obviously, Nkrumah was not going to turn around Ghana in 9 short years. Simply, (1) Lee Kwan Yew had more time, and (2) those who followed Nkrumah have never have a clue what to do, except perhaps General Acheampong. That is just what the "objective" data shows, the way we see it.
Those are some of the facts.
Greetings!

Ghanaians have never been objective. Instead, Ghanaians have throughout our contemporary political history been very idiotic, unprincipled and extremely greed-oriented. The state of our affairs now are ample testimony to how this is never going to give way to efficient and effective management policies.
For overthrowing Kwame Nkrumah, people contend he was being a dictator and that unique political system wasn't good. I love to frown at that. One does not have to go far to find a good example in Felix Houphoet-Boigny's Ivory Coast. The former Ivorian President who gave Nkrumah the toughest challenges in the subregion wasn't a hundredth as good as was Nkrumah but the free-handed reign he had pushed Ivory Coast to achievements far outweighing his one party tutelage spanning decades. It not only gave Ivory Coast peace until now but clear advantages over Ghana, advantages they still tap from.
Felix Houphoet-Boigny was a cocoa farmer in the first place who managed to snatch the world's first cocoa-producing country title from Ghana! Recently, just about two weeks ago, Ivory Coast again takes over as the first Cashew producing country from India at a time when Ghana, a country having better rainfall and manpower than Burkina cluelessly imports vegetables from that country.
What I was trying to drive at was that, political ideologies don't advance a country's cause: it's the coherent policies and sense of direction that make states. So it was a stupid idea to overthrow Nkrumah on those unintelligent and unfounded reasons.
The question that often comes to mind is, what did we achieve close to 50 years after the overthrow? Ruins after ruins. Not only had the country's lazy intellectuals failed bitterly; they don't have a clue about what to do. So, thinking, we overthrew Nkrumah to have a lazy country so much anchored in democratic principles of long-relished freedoms that our beaches are full of shit and no one knows how to battle efficiently the stupidity of NDC and NPP.
Afrifa and Kotoka, and all those involved in the overthrow were for their pockets only even if it entailed forcefully pushing the country into precipice and sacrificing the posterity for one's narcissistic penchants in life.
Sure, Nkrumah greatly overstepped his boundaries concerning his own financial policies including budgets and giving out to poor countries when we weren't ourselves out of the economic doldrums, but they're lesser trouble when you think of the country we have today. YOu just want to weep.
I may not have known Nkrumah but one thing I will always agree with him is that, the average Ghanaian needs a whip/cain behind to function as a whole and focused individual. WE have no discipline, we have no respect for rules and regulations. If Nkrumah exercised strong hands in the administration of the country, he was of the reason that it was a necessary tool for success in savage Ghana. It's still a valid recourse to take if anyone MUST succeed just about anything in Ghana as a leader.
Usually, I tell myself if I survive as a leader for three months as a president in Ghana, there's no doubt I would succeed in turning the country back. The first people to handle would be my entourage who'd want to get me killed because I wouldn't concede a centimeter for them to loot.
The second will be to get everyone seriously punished for refusing to do their jobs. Either you do, or you go!

I couldn"t agree with you more, you are a living proof that the "Nkrumah Bashers" are just a bunch of loquacious, vociferous and dedicated sophists who are constantly turning fiction into facts. Especially when their tale spinning nonsense is woven in threads invincible to the gullible Ghanaians of their persuasion. Discerning Ghanaians like Prof Lungu and yourself [Jordys] will have none of it. Bravo!
Kwabena Yeboah, will tell you that, building a nation is not for chickens, yet when Ghanaians ran out of condensed milk, the gullible ones did not tighten their belts, they headed straight to the CIA. And in his [Kwabena Yeboah] considered and objective opinion that is the essence of nation building. I wonder where K Yeboah, lived between 1977-1983 when common soap was as "rare as a hen"s teeth in Ghana. We are still waiting for him to come and tell us, why Singapore became richer than Puerto Rico?
