Please respond to the gist & logic of what Ace Ankoma said without obfuscating it in lies & insults, bogus Dr. Otto.
I wish Ace Ankoma himself would explain what he meant by his statement.

The only waste I smell here is you - "Dr" Otto.
How can you understand the intricate intellectual pattern Prof. Lungu has woven here when you are just a raffia palm wearing savage?

The most intelligent African nonetheless has grasped this simple truths that we all will die one day, and we all will pay taxes as long as we live. Ace Ankomah is an African - he quacks like an African and squeaks like an African in spite of his education, and that is why he can unashamedly support tax havens.
Ace Ankomah's article was ostensibly in support of JA Kufuor and his family named in the Panama Papers. As an attorney and as cognitively adroit as he claims to be, he could have reasoned that Kufuor and his family had no reason to hide money in a tax haven because JA Kufuor as President of Ghana was exempted from paying taxes. But then, I am compelled to cut Ace Ankomah the slack for who he is - a discombobulated African bereft of common sense.

This is the Rawlings' induced constitution and our Parliament agreed. Everywhere in the world, in western democracy one condition for qualifying as a presidential candidate to show proof of your civic responsibility of paying taxes. That being said, the very fact our Constitution exempts our Presidents' and was approved by Parliament in itself is illegal, which I plan to challenge in the coming days.
The basic principles on which our democracy is anchored is three-prong: law, order, and good government. If the law requires all citizens to pay taxes, but exempt the President who is a citizen, there is violation. Violation of anyone of the guiding principles renders our democracy useless and we become a banana republic. And if you have noticed, there is no strict adherence of law in the country, there is no order and there is no good government.
This is African democracy for you.

Our sense is, this is one "African cultural practice" we cannot say Kwame Nkrumah is responsible for.
Fact is, we know that he was hard on officials in his government who were in business for themselves, to the extent he could control the situations. And Nkrumah never had his own private business(es), or foreign accounts, notwithstanding what so many nonentities told the American-funded NLC.
