You people are just trying anything you can to ensure that someone becomes the president "at all cost". But the truth is that most of the policies you people insist must be put in place turns round to ruin the chances of your sacred cow. At the end of the day we all will witness who the looser will be. Who benefited from the biometric system? Who lost because they couldn't steel in Kumasi?

I think this Prof. Asare rather want to mislead us. Why because the example he used about business contract been signed and NOT go through parliament can be compared with CI 72 which laid in parliament for 21days and subsequently passed into law. I'm not a lawyer but I disagree with the Prof

As you well know equity comes before the law so when there is conflict between the law and equity, equity prevails. It so because the human factor which is always overwhelming in law must be given preference.Anything other than that is a bad law and must be interpreted with equity in mind.
That is why I agree with you that On this narrower question, the Court could say the use of the NHIS card is not sufficient to establish citizenship but the registration should not be voided on equity grounds.
Why are you then quarreling with Justice Gbadegbe's brilliant exposition taking the law which says that any retrospective law is against equity because it is breach of the human right law.
The rule of equity always intervenes to remedy a bad law and any decision based on that law. That is why I applaud Justice Gbadegbe for taking both the law and equity into consideration before coming to his decision.Brilliant legal reasoning Justice Gbadegbe.

Why all these big big terms? If NPP is not ready for the election they should tell us. This will not be their first time of boycotting election.

What is wrong with you know it all lawyers. Elections are won at polls not the courtroom. Besides its the collective choices of all the voters that matter.
Legal minds like you should know by now that technicalities can never win one power. And the truth is the winner of the upcoming election will be decided again at the ballot box not the court room.
Equity must count for something in our law courts. And remember the law was made for men. It is not the other way around.

Prof, your education is remarkable and forthright.
As you stated: Any illegality is illegal and can't stand even the time it was committed. Wrong is wrong from the time it was done.
Thank you.
