Shakespeare used "Brutus" throughout his text but when he had Caesar speak Latin, he wrote "Et tu, Brute" and not "Et tu, Brutus" which would not be correct Latin. They say Plutarch said Caesar may have addressed Brutus in Greek, the language of the ruling class, but that is another matter...
So, what should Arthur Kennedy, who probably went to secondary school in Ghana when Latin was no longer studied, have written?
As for me, I have forgotten all the Latin I learnt ooo...

The use of "Brute" has everything to do with the composition of the Latin sentence. I don't think it is the way "Brutus" is said in Latin.
This issue can be resolved only by people with solid knowledge of Latin grammar. That is why I want their help...

Doctor is the name of his vocation and NOT his title. Ghanaians must know the difference and journalists should stop confusing their listeners. You call the wrong people Dr and then turn round to accuse all doctors of intellectual deficiency.
