At the height of dumsor we had Yvonne Nelson, a no brainer actress lead people on dumsor protest march all because dumsor was costing her too much money with gasoline/oil purchases to use her backup generator. Did it ever occur to the rich and educated to invest in solar energy to cut down their carbon foot print while helping them save? At the end of the day people are going to settle in Ghana's urban areas because they come to seek work. Develop the regions, offer local long lasting and sustainable jobs and those I guarantee will go a long ways to help make people become more aware of the benefits of green energy and environmental sustainable living habits
