The Rawlingses are now a liability carrying a baggage that will lose anyone or party that they openly support. The NDC have successfully severed relations with the two in 2012 and won the elections. No attempt should be made to bring any of them back on stream. They are bad news.

Now, the Fiifi Kweteys, Ablakwas, Omane Boamahs, Ofosu Kwakyes, and other new breeds of the moneytocracy NDC have set up scores of fuel filling stations along Ghana's borders with our neighbouring countries to have our precious fuel smuggled daily, in the full glare of the public. When JJ was in power who born dog to set up fuel stations along the border to smuggle fuel to our neighbouring countries? Yet all these are ongoing without Mahamah closing down these filling stations. He himself has allegedly bought mansions in Dubai. He hasnt come out to deny them. N you expect JJ to endorse Mahamah? The Rawlingses are no longer relevant in the NDC. Their absence is rather a blessing to the party and its candidate.

In the last elections, Jerry Rawlings did not campaign for the NDC and his wife spent all her time attacking the NDC and yet, it won the elections.

Gone are the days when NDC thought they could not survive without the Rawlingses. The party has outgrown the influence of the Rawlingses and is now a fully matured and independent political party.

You are wrong because JJ is a spent force. He does not have what it takes to win over undecided or floating voters anymore. Those days are gone forever. His flirtations with Akuffo Addo have dented his credibility with those who used to respect him, moreover his wife's pronouncements have done him much damage in and outside the NDC

More, Rawlings could well be silently killing two birds with one stone by also avenging his Wife's humiliation at the last NDC Convention that resulted in her forming her own Party. Very soon, when Zanetor's push-and-shove with the NDC leaders at Korle Klottey ends, and she loses, she would have added to the cause for J.J.'s vengeance at Mahama and the NDC in general, as well.

What a spectacle! The guy formed his Party. Others hijacked it to enrich themselves and their cronies with it. Oh, Mother Ghana! Could this be a scenario of 'thiefman thief thiefman'...? Nooooo....! Not quite. J.J. did not steal the Party. He created it, and only saw it to bloom with his 'boom-boom'. It served him well. The others saw how fruitful the harvest from it has been and wanted a piece of it, too.

Ghanaian Politics is just that. Folks mainly flock to it for enriching themselves. And we, the ordinary folks, allow and facilitate that. Then, later, we cry for wasting our votes.

Well, it may not be too late to change the trend. But what better options do we have? Surely, not the Akufo-Addo Mafia, oh!

Honestly, it was my love for Rawlings that made me joined the moving train of the great NDC. But, that doesn't mean l will leave NDC if Rawlings decides to leave today. Rawlings is a great man and he is my hero for that matter. But, he can never unseat president Mahama unless Allah says so. My piece of advice for this great man is that, he should save himself from embarrassment by not allowing his "excuse my language" selfish wife to dent his whitely painted image because JDM can win hands down without him if it is written by Allah. The sometimes dangerous lifestyle may more generally reflect sensation-seeking or impulsivity (e.g., risky sex, bold financial decisions, DRUG ABUSE, COUP DETATS, SUPPORTING DIFFERENT POLITICAL PARTIES).

I may be wrong.He has chastised on several occasions, the loot from members of his party, particularly the villager he plugged from the village who now counts as one rich millionaire (USD) in this country. This unholy alliance is the worst kept secret in Ghana. The elephant-riding serial losers, aware that they have no agenda to bring the electorate to their side, have in the past years crossed over to their so-called arch enemies, Konadu and Jery Rawlings, to form a silent alliance. Unforunately for the elephant-riders, Konadu is just another noise maker without a cause, and thus gathers no moss or herself nor for anyone. President Rawlings is torn between staying "independent" and supporting his wife's 31st December Movement political party, NDP, a party that has as many supporters as the coughing Ayariga and his political party. In short, the serial losing elephant-riders have hitched their wagon to a horse that has three legs just like the three=legged elephant that carries that Serial Loser Akufo-Addo.

When one is asked o count from one to ten and the one keeps repeating, one, one, one, one, that certainly is not counting to ten. That's the alliance between the Rawlings and the clueless Serial Loser Akufo-Addo. remember Akufo-Addo on the transfer of the two detainees cried out aloud why President Mahama did not consult with President Rawlings? RPresident Rawlings is no dummy, and he clearly understands the trick being played by Serial Loser Akufo-Addo. The same can't be said of Nana Konadu.
