Isn't it interesting that the death worshipers in Ghana overnight are re-branding and remaking the late Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey as some hero - the man who stole enough money and amassed wealth in the corrupt JA Kufuor's government. Is this not the man who traveled all the way to London to seek treatment of God knows what ailment, and died and died in a beautiful (plush) London hospital surrounded by the state of the art technology money can buy?
How many Ghanaians can afford to die in the hospital in which Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey died? How many Ghanaians can travel to London, one of the most expensive cities in the world, to seek treatment let alone die there and be flown back to his country. And yet we have buffoons and clowns in the country who are bereft with common sense crying their bloody hearts out. Isn't this a complete idiocy?
This man wielded so much power in Kufuor's government - he was in Kufuor's cabinet. Instead of building hospitals, these fools spent over $120 million to build a Presidential Palace (Jubilee House), and stole enough money to guarantee them a trip to whatever location around the globe for medical treatment. And the stupid, brain dead Ghanaian cries himself/herself to stupor because Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey has died.
It is my prayer that any politician who steals from the people and go abroad for medical treatment must die. It is my fervent prayer that they all die abroad in their hospital beds and never to come back and steal again.
