George, it is really sad that Ghana has no flag carrier airline(Ghana Airways), but you could be forgiven for thinking that our Governments and Ghanaians have changed, and learned lessons from the underlying causes of the failures and collapse of State-Owned Enterprises(SOEs) over the past decades.
The failures of SOEs including the collapse of Ghana Airways and many others which ended up with mountains of national debt are down to utter inefficiency, lack of strategic management, lack of operational and marketing capabilities, our Ghanaian attitude towards State-Owned Enterprises, maladministration, rampant corruption and continued political meddling in SOEs.
Ghana Airways struggled, run into losses and failed. It is doomed to fail again.
