Thank you. But you need to refresh with some basic facts. Almost every sector of the country has activities and programs being funded by foreign grunts or loans. Even our annual budget needs support. Sectors and units are ran with DFID, also foreign support. There is no single project in the country without loan from outside, even propaganda sanitary pad we had to depend on loans. Our politicians are doing all the unscrupulous to maintain power while expatriates and NGOs are providing basic thing in our communities. So, what do you expect. They come here and know how compromised our institutions through politicians are. They have no respect for you because government delegations are already in their country begging for things. I can continue to give instances for which these foreigners treat us with contempt. It is a pity. The last time I checked our president was in Scotland and, you may continue the story.

If you stayed outside and come back to Ghana, you would die before your death if you think about how Ghana has deteriorated in every facet of life.
The President looks like a mere figure head being manipulated by foreigners at their will.

If only the author had offered the draft to one or two peers for ‘editing scrutiny’ and correction it would have made an excellent and gripping read.

I was at a shop in Accra when two ladies walked in. A Ghanaian and a white lady. They all went for shopping trolley. A shop assistant rushed to white lady to help her push the trolley. I nearly exploded. I went straight to the shop assistant and asked him which of the two ladies really need help? the white lady or Ghanaian lady with a baby in her arm? The scene was watched by many shoppers in the shop. The white lady was so embarrassed she took trolley from the assistant. He was standing there and making no attend to assist the Ghanain lady. I asked him; don't you know what to do? I pointed out to him that it is the Ghanaian lady who really need assistance. He went to take the trolley from her.
The shop was packed and shoppers were staring at me like I am a some kind of a monster. But in the car park few people came to me and said what I did was right. One woman told gentleman I do not know where you came from and this is Ghana

A mixture of abject poverty and religion has tamed Ghanaians. In this case the Ghanaian shop attendant reckons that it was more likely the white shopper would give him a tip.
