  I am a United States citizen and i am in awe of the amount of extortion that is going on in ghana through the mail department. In the united states it is elegal to tamper with mail but i can see it is a common practice there. I recently sent a gift to my fure wife that lives in ghana and her parcel was not only opened but it was not given to her unless she pays for it. It is my property until it is in her possession. It now considered theft and as a United States citizen i will contact the us embassy. The U.S. frowns on terrorism and that is what the ghana postal workers are (Terrorists!). I will take my concerns to the president of the United States. With the election just around the corner this topic would make a good crusade for next U.S. President to focus on.
