I'm not only surprised but flabbergasted by the authors incompetence in evaluation and assessment; just because pupil go to school does not mean they graduate successfully from school or at all. What are the current status of each of those initiatives status of tjose entities or schemes gor wh8ch credit is granted to the late Jake? Let me look out and survey the landscape for a second: visitor to our tourism industry do have to drive to those designated sites on our wonderful roads. The 5 year tax break gimmick given to hospitality industry resulted in every scheme where unfit structures became hotels and motels so owners did not have to pay taxes. And the chocolate fantasy has not and did not elevate Ghana to its cocoa production dominance in the early and late 60's.
It's one thing to propose ideas but those ideas do to amount to much if they are unsustainable and or if mandated/imposed on communities by government without continued funding source. Jake is a man like every other man that served in anyone of Ghana's long list of incompetent civilian governments and military dictators. We could not expect anything less. Not speaking ill of the dead should not give rise to exaggerated credits.
