It is now abundantly clear that if there is any such agenda and Allan is associated with it, and in the unlikely event that the NPP does not come to power in 2017, that would spell doom for the future Presidential ambition of Allan and by extension,the NPP under those circumstances would remain in a political limbo for a very, very long time to come. The reason for that is simple; the NPP would be so fragmented along the lines of Nana Addo's hardliners and Allan's hardliners such that amidst that fragmentation a third force would spring up to take the position of the NPP.
The time to join ranks therefore is NOW or never!

Any Ghanaian, here at home and or in the Diaspora, who has not figured out the root cause of our political immaturity and collective inability to get off the train wreck of trading between the NDC and NPP as a preferred solution is as dumb and foolish as we get.
When a marriage or a relationship go sour the problem does not go away or get solved by starting a replacement relationship with a twin of the previous partner hoping for a better result or happy life thereafter. A new executive of a defunct business does not keep using same failed business practices and staff culture in place and expect better results.
So why do we continue to play a tribal preference game and or with horse trade between a thieving NPP and a more thieving NDC and expect either party to change their stripes or thieving ways? It does not take science or much more than everyday common sense to know that Nana Akufo-Addo is not a solution to our problems in Ghana; he has a long record in public service and we should know him by his past deeds. An argument can be made that Nana was so good that under Kufour's administration he was moved from one department to another. It could also prove that he was given one chance after chance and could not come up to measure. In the end Nana paid Kufour in kind by staying mum and loyal to party while Kufour stole and gave away state assets. And after decades of being the legislative representative for a district in the Eastern region what gave in the district or the region as a whole? Today Ghana's Eastern region remains underdeveloped as the central region or the western region; this Rockson Adofo is a list of glowing accomplishment that Ghana has to look forward to.
Question for anyone who think Nana is a coming savior: who is left in the NPP and or the NDC who is not a thief, a liar, and morally bankrupt? How's Nana going to stop his thieving cabinet and a parliament full of thieves and abject lazy and incompetent bunch who have not stopped president Mahama but continuously approved every budget while pretending that talking about problems will make it better?
Here's my two cents: lets get rid of all of our current members of parliament and replace them with patriots with conscience and are willing to control our budgets and spending and see if Mahama does not become the best president since independence.

That schism cost Victor Owusu the presidency. The same ethnocentric undercurrents exist currently in the NPP with the Kuffour and the Akufo-Addo factions. The truth is that the divisive, arrogant, vindictive Akufo Addo will never be able to heal the current schism. Infact he is worsening it. Kuffour is speaking in coded metalanguage to his faction when he says ELECTION IS NOT WAR - he is lambasting the uncouth, patapaa strategies of Akufo-Addo.
