Are you seriously suggesting that Akufo Ado the leader of the largest opposition should not think of security for himself?
Then he must be very daft and naive indeed.
If Akufo Ado is moving around with a driver who has no idea of security , then I will be very surprised. In other words Akufo Ado is right to be engaging private security under all circumstances.
All private security concerns engage foreign security experts to train their staff. Accusing Akufo Ado for the engagement is sign of desperation and fear.... especially when all security reports point to the fact that AKUFO Ado is very formidable and powerful and definitely winning 2016.
NDC ARE PANICKING AND THESE DIVERSIONS AIMED AT COVERING THEIR STINKING SHAME WILL NOT HELP THEM. BUHARI FACED SIMILAR SITUATIONS BUT HE STILL WON.
AKUFO ADO WILL WIN.

The spurious excuses and bravado being used to defend this scandal suggest the npp is proving to be a law unto themselves.
The danger is that in their exuberance they will ignite a conflagration that will set Ghana back several years. When you hear them with their bellicose stance on all maters instead of civility you wonder what these party is up to.
They have interpreted democracy in a way that is always confrontational with a whole lot of splinter groups who are always keen to test the law to its limit. This testing of the law to its limit and the preparation of the security forces to implement the law will be starting of a conflict.
The npp must respect the rule of law if not they will end up the losers. This is something they must handle carefully but it is not in their nature to accept faults so lets wait and see.

The questions that follows the justification of bringing mercenaries into the country bothers on safety. To ask, why did they come under business visa instead of security training? How are the forms filled? What were the reasons provided on the application forms? Why were the 15 persons not trained by Ghana police service or kofi anan centre? How are you going to use the trainees after elections if nana did not win? How did they get access to the STL database or software? Why profile the current and past employees? What research informed npp to organised special security for addo? Can we think beyond our political lense in order to ensure safety in this country? Comrades I support the arrest, detention and prosecution of the 3 including Mr Koda and associates or accomplices. Fair hearing must be accorded to all and those found guilty be seriously dealt with.

Akufo-Addo should not accept security from the police or BNI, they are easily manipulated by the government, ask the opposition party in Uganda. The Gitmo2 is what the government should be worried about. Their counterparts have struck again in Brussels killing some 31 innocent after they killed 19 in Cote D'voire less than two weeks ago. This is what the NDC should be worried about and not some security trainers from South Africa. Shame on NDC
