There is no lesson to be learned here if there are no lessons learned from the lives of living Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc. Why has Christians not gotten any wiser even as religion has continued to be basis for justification for slavery, race discrimination, gender preferences, sexual orientation and socioeconomic practices while Muslims fight along sectarian lines even as Hindus go waring with non Hindus? Should believers not be enlightened and wiser after generations of same practices and adherence to our presumed understanding of texts written before our coming into being? The Ghanaian ISIS wannabe died because of failure of Muslim leaders in his mosque to know right from wrong; the guy was a fanatic who was preaching his delusions to others before leaving our shores. The same is true of Christian leaders in Ghana who use the Church to preach hatred by tribe and political party preferences from the pulpits and pretend they carry any Christ-like value or moral authority.

This attempt by Islamic scholars (both secular and religious) to extricate the misdeeds of people calling on Islam as their motive, will not wash on many of us.
The simple point is that Islam has failed to show the way, any way, or the truth. Islam has done many good things but also many bad things. You cannot claim credit for one and disclaim the other.
It just shows that Islam, like ALL religions, is a man-made cultural institution with its good parts and bad parts. There is no clear and righteous Islam that is distinct from a non-righteous one. This is a strong characteristic of a man-made artifact.
Christianity has also gone through this stage but has done better than Islam in putting its violent side behind it. Christians still commit violent acts but many do not genuinely believe they are doing it in the name of Christianity. The Islamic violent actors genuinely believe they are doing it in the name of the religion - no matter what any mufti says about what true Islam is.
It is ok that family heads and mosque leaders try to bring their brood to order but ISLAM itself needs to change tremendously. We are no longer living in the 17th century Arabian deserts.

This write-up will only deceive the gullible non-muslim who is so lazy to study islamic history.
The terrorists who are your target readers know very well that they have never been refuted theologically and will never be because they have a well grounded doctrine based on scriptures and history.
No ISIS member takes condemnation from Saudi Arabia seriously because no nation rivals ISIS more than Saudi Arabia.

I wish to stronger recommend our security agencies to treat this information as a complete lie. His immediate family should be placed under security radar as well as anyone connected to him.
