The sudden reappearance of this bill suggests that some backhanders have been paid. Doesn't this govt appreciate the importance of food security? These GM multinationals spend millions on promotion each year - profit is their motivation, not, national food security. This govt should heed the wise counsel of stakeholders and, for once, show some patriotism.

Even the USA is beginning to reject GMOs and their toxic chemicals. African countries are the last ditch target to maintain profits.
