Cutting the sod to commence a road project means nothing in Ghana. There have been countless 'sod cutting' in Ghana for numerous projects that have not seen the light of day. For a government to be offering 'sod cutting' as evidence of improvement in the cocoa industry is pathetic. It is also disingenous on NPP to make a claim and not take into account the general state of the worldwide cocoa industry. People should get serious. The old ways of politics will not get us anywhere. The current state of Ghana is combination of all these dishonest behaviours.

Who is this rented Daniel Acheampong? Say that to your ndc fools who see nothing wrong with their lives and future. I trust Nana more than ndc, ndc has never thought of anything good about Ghana, you same Daniel Acheampong was talking shit about the Hohoe roads and now cocoa are you ndc economist? You people are behaving like a drowning person who is trying to hold on to even a straw to survive. Every Ghanaian knows thieves talk a lot because they just want an excuse to save themselves so your talking too much and rushing to comment every critique gives you away the hard one that you are thieves. Only fools will believe you and even they have changed their minds to vote for good policies that will change their future. Ghanaians know hope is coming and change is on the way. I will be a fool to vote for the ndc to transform the lives of john mahama his family, friends and cronies, I will bea fool to vote ndc to transform the lives of Solomon Nkansah, Asiedu Nketiah, Koku Anyidoho, Kofi Adams, Sam George, Ofosu Kwakye, Kwaku Boahen, Fred Agbenyo, Kwesi Pratt, Ben Ephson and all those in their HQ and executive officers I will be the most idiot of all on earth. Anybody who vote to transform the lives of these people for you to suffer, it will be better if that person wasn't born.

So Nana argued that "we are in a state of crisis when cocoa production has been going down
because the government of Ghana changed the mass cocoa spraying regime they met, to an NDC cocoa
farm spraying project. We are in a state of crisis when Ghana is reduced to importing."
This scholar argues "but the declining trend in the cocoa production today is not a development that is peculiar to Ghana." What a brilliant argument!
What this writer is saying is that the output of every cocoa producing nation has gone down presumably because of El Nino so if Ghana's production has also gone down, it is no big deal.
But Nana's point is that IF the mass spraying of cocoa initiated by the NPP had continued, we would perhaps not have experienced what all the other cocoa producing countries have experienced. That every other major cocoa producing country has experienced a decline in production does not mean Ghana also should, or MUST experience a reduction in output, if we could do something that perhaps the other countries did not do.
Nana's point is very easy to grasp, but, alas, not all "writers" are born to be writers. To be a good writer requires common analytical and reasoning skills. Unfortunately these things are not THAT common.
You should,make unbiased analysis
