We must put Pastor Otabil's comments into proper perspective.I believe he meant well.Ghana has huge debts,a ballooning deficit and a currency that is depreciating.Do we even have to wait for a Pastor to tell us that something is wrong?Mahama has done well with infrastructural development. But remember the same Mahama said in 2008 that every govt builds infrastructure.

Joe,
You hit the nail right on the head. The Pastor newly fully well the import of "revolution " yet he chose to use it. His about turn there and then about what he did not intend the use of the word to be, really did not help matters. The double standards and hypocrisy is nauseating to say the leas. The pastor should choose between dabbling in Ghana's dirty politics or remaining the successful businessman that he is.

Dr. Otabil is spot on. Our current state as a country is as a result of the excessive control by the state and it's associated inefficiencies. The Political parties are threatened by the comments of Dr. Otabil because if that becomes the status quo, the political parties grasp on the resources of the state, their relevance and very existence will be threatened. In my view, the state's role should be more of an enabling role and restricted to providing social protection.
