This article of yours is invaluable and worth good attention. I wish the Minister of Employment and Education tap into this food for thought which you have spilled on this article to improve the lots of our unemployment problems. Sadly, even if they read and appreciate your knowledge, politics would not allow them to follow up with deeds. Indeed, Knowledge without application of it is dead

YOUR ASSERTION THAT GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CREATE JOBS IS NOT TRUE.. IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS, THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA UNDER NKRUMAH CREATED JOBS FOR THE CITIZENS.THERE WAS VIRTUALLY NO UNEMPLOYMENT IN GHANA AND THERE WAS GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IN THE ECONOMY.
WE ARE NOW RUNNING AN ECONOMY LEFT TO THE MERCY OF PRIVATE BUSINESSES AND THEIR AIM IS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS FOR THEMSELVES SO THEY INVEST ONLY IN THOSE AREAS THEY CAN GET MAXIMUM PROFITS.

Well said. This formal education craze is ridiculous, STUPID! Future master artisans, chefs, artists, musicians, poets and writers are frustrated in their lives now or forever derailed because doubt has been sewn so deep in their psyche about how much of a failure they'll be if they don't do what everyone else is doing. Like not working in a bank, not becoming a doctor, or a lawyer. This higher education bubble has burst, it's all over the place. THIS SHIT HAS TO STOP. All the vocational schools and stuff MAKE SOME NOISE because whether you believe it or not you graduates have better chance of making something out of themselves than the university graduated in this economy. DOWN WITH HIGHER EDUCATION and FREE CREATIVITY because without education in whatever shape, way or form creativity won't flourish.
very nice article
