So as an educated Ghanaian Lawyer, is your "mother's last born" NOT "appropriately" your "dear-departed" SISTER?
What torturous "respect" is the term "mother's last born"?

These words sound like the good old days of GBC2.
"The words of our Elders are words of wisdom".
They rhyme so well in my ears.
Well done.
Long live Ghana and God bless us.

What is the point of references to Adu Boahene, Basil Davidson Herodotus , Tiberius Caesar etc.? It is the kind of reductive and perforated reasoning which emanates from characters whose self conception towers above their actual medical ability.
There is no coherence in the writing. The fragmentary narrative reflects a lack of reflective thinking. Instead, we have muttering and puttering. Spicing up this poorly conceived narrative with legal jargon reflects desperation.
The tedious prose measures the sub-par level of literacy of the “ESTEEMED” Captain

Sir, "All Die Be Die" is really what his last "concluding with wisdom" means.
That is a cold "memento mori" tribute!

I am not a qualified lawyer but one thing that I know is that ex-parte motion has nothing to do with surprises as being claimed by the author. Ex-parte motion is when a court grants an injunction after hearing only one party in a case of great urgency because if the injunction is not granted that party (normally the applicant) could suffer irreparable or irretrievable damage. It is not about surprising the other party who was unaware or was not informed about the application to the court and the hearing to put up a defence.
If Ghanaian lawyers use ex-parte as surprises and Ghanaian judges do order such surprise ex-parte injunctions, then Ghana's judiciary is a joke.
