My dear, I feel your pain. I was in Ghana for two weeks driving a hired car and I was surprised at the recklessness on our roads.
Apart from the motorcycles zigzagging in-between vehicles, on-coming vehicles move onto your lane as of right when another vehicle has stopped on their own lane. This is done in complete disregard to you the on-coming car having the right to your lane of the road. It happened so many times I started wondering whether that traffic regulation has changed.
How I also wished I had the powers of the police.
