Well said. Furthermore, I am of the opinion that civil servants who are employed to serve public interest are involved in sabotaging the system.. For example, many of the importers of electricity generators are civil servants, therefore it is not in their financial interest to ensure the nation increases its use of sustainable sources of energy, like the sun and wind.

You made a good case about the independence of PURC and the non involvement of govt in the utility price hikes but you got it all wrong when you tried to accuse the npp of the murder of 34 women in the run up to 2000 elections just to make the ndc loose the elections. The NDC at the time had all state security apparatus at their disposal and therefore shd hv arrested them. This was a regime that had neutralised several attempted coups and hence did not lack the intelligence to trail and arrest the mysterious murderers.
Come up to 2009 to date, Your NDC govt has always blamed it's failures on the opposition npp. when the economy is in crisis, you blame dwarfs, high rising structures and npp; when markets burn you blame npp yet you have not been able to prosecute a single NPP activist . You ironically have enough intelligence to host gitmo prisoners in Ghana but can not protect your own citizens and electicity transformers.
