Which is which, Adofo Rockson? Are you passing the buck because Kwabena Duffour is Asanteni and you could not bring yourself to criticize a fellow Asanteni, or is it because Mr. Duffuor distinguished himself so well as Finance Minister in the corrupt NDC administration between 2009 and 2013 so much as to be beyond blame?
If you had treated Duffuor's comment with unmitigated clarity of mind and honest appraisal of the logic behind it, I am sure you would have reached one concludion, and one conclusion only. "Ghana facing minor challenges" was facetious and a discombobulation of events on the ground. You must understand that Duffuor was the Finance Minister of this same party, and that alone should compel you to take his comment with a grain of salt.
But let's look at Duffour's record between 2009 and 2013. It is instructive to note that Duffour as Finance Minister, presided over one of the worst budget deficits in our history and was clearly responsible for plunging the economy and the cedi into disarray, precipitating in IMF bailout. Ghana's budget deficit under his watch was an unprecedented 12% of GDP with the attendant high inflation and high interest rate regime. It is also worth noting that during his time, public debt rose from 43% of GDP to 53.5%. This Duffuor guy was a complete disaster, and the reason for high cost of living in the country currently.
Your advocacy for NPP's return to power is misplaced, because they are equally corrupt to the core and incompetent as well. We witnessed JA Kufuor's thieving performance and can safely predict Nana Addo's performance if he is lucky to get in. Unless we find a solution to the NDC and NPP control of Ghana's political landscape, and/or overhaul completely the 1992 Constitution, we must as well forget nation building because we Africans are not cut out to be nation builders.

Is it not strange for Adofo Rockson of all people to criticize people for "insulting" Duffour, yet find nothing wrong for his (Adofo's) persistent insults to people of authority, including but not limited to The President, Otumfour, Kumawuhene and Kumawuhemaa? God Is Watching.
