We sat down and watched this ndc govt use only contract sole sourcing and plain thievery to destroy our economy because of ndc dirty politics of anti akanism and whipping up sentiments against akans in several subtle ways and means just to blindfold us whilst they looted our scarce cash mercilessly thro all manner of scandals which pop up on daily or weekly basis…..highest taxes ever in Ghana happened under this ndc govt…..highest borrowings ever in Ghana happened under this ndc govt……..highest internal revenues ever in Ghana happened under this same ndc govt……….input of over four billion dollars from crude oil happened under this same ndc govt……yet we have allowed them to use sada, subah, gyeeda, fake jdgt debts, contract sole sourcing, bloated contracts , etc etc to destroy our country as businesses have collapsed due to lack of power to run our factories etc……weakened nhis, weakened school feeding program, weakened capitation grant, etc etc………leap and yes programs have become avenues to drain the economy etc etc……now this is how far we have come due to ndc justifying every corruption and thievery under the sun even when caught redhanded ………BUT WHO ARE WE DECEIVING?........WHAT WE HAVE SOWED IS EXACTLY WHAT WE ARE REAPING…..SUFFER SUFFER SUFFER SUFFER DUE TO LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES……….SO THE SUFFERING WILL CONTINUE UNABATED TILL WE PUT TRIBALISM ASIDE AND LOOK AT PERFORMANCE, ACCOUNTABILITY, TRANSPARENCY, INTEGRITY, PATRIOTISM ETC ……….THIS NDC GOVT IS A TOTAL FAILURE AND MUST BE KICKED OUT IN 2016 BY ALL MEANS…..

If the constitution is flawed (and it is), we must amend it. I have argued for parliamentary democracy with no parties, just independent candidates and an upper National House of Chiefs/Council of State.
Ghana, we need urgency in our march to becoming an advanced nation.

Interestingly we are yet to witness amendments to the 1992 Constitution! After 23years of its operation, there's the need to amend the constitution to reflect changing circumstances!

I have been impressed by the professor's article on corruption. My question is:Is any political party addressing the problem of corruption? Why should any one seek political office who is not addressing this problem which is actually a national disgrace? Should it take the Lands Commission over three months, to release a title for a house mortgaged for a bank loan meant for business that will employ Ghanians? How can foreigners risk investing their hard-earned money for development purposes? Perhaps what we need to do is set up a system whereby individuals are evaluated immediately after performing a job on a scale of 1-10(1=least satisfied). Such evaluations should be the basis of promotion or demotion. This should apply to all government officials and should be adopted by private companies also. It should be used to evaluate members holding high political offices also. This is only a suggestion but corruption is dragging our nation down and is too much of a NATIONAL DISGRACE!
