1. Is government telling us the truth about the conditions surrounding the whole issue? This humanitarian reason sounds weak.
2. Was pressure put on government by a friendly but powerful country? If so, what attempts did government make to escape those pressures?
3. Did something go wrong in the way info on the matter was handled? Did the government request the deal to be kept secret but was somehow leaked to the US media?
4. Of huge interest will be the decision process that led to the acceptance. Was it discussed at cabinet level, relevant parliamentary committee level, a cross-party process, etc.?
Now govt is saying these guys will be here for two years. What will happen then?
There are many other questions.

Read this you will know why Nana is quiet. I think Nana is the guilty one here. In the year 2000, USA embarked on a mission to get countries to sign the famous Bilateral Immunity Agreement(BIA) or the "Non-Surrender Agreement" mafia style ...."sign & get my protection ....!NANA ADDO was the Foreign Minister at the time. The verbal promises that came along that deal were very juicy and seemed to be of special interest to Nana Addo. On the surface the agreement said u can not handover American interest (prisoner, criminal etc) to the International Criminal Court (ICC), bring to the United States instead! John Mahama on the 30th October,2003 in Parliament spoke vehemently against the signing of this agreement sighting future repercussions just like we are faced with today on the terrorists issue. Hon. Alban S.K Bagbin led minority were "defeated" by the NPP and the agreement was signed in 2003 with Hackman Owusu pending his signature for Ghana. Today the USA has used clauses in that same agreement to TRANSFER their prisoners to us and we are here blaming innocent John Mahama. One major concern John Mahama raised on the floor of parliament at the time was the fact that the agreement had no termination clause meaning you sign it for life!!! Today the Ghanaian will wake from sleep to the reality that he has a "reformed" terrorist leaving next door. Nana Addo Danquah had his Cocaine season alright but left us with an agreement that gives the USA the right to establish Guantanamo Annex in Ghana. Please Publish this and let Nana Addo and his NPP give a rebuttal or challenge the writer openly. NDC will use this to win the 2016 election. Nana's past is hunting him now. This is the TRUTH.

Stop the nonsense and stick to the article. Is Nana ruling Ghana now and is he responsible for bringing the Gitmo prisoners here?
