Listen to yourself speak, Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe!
".....the global superpower status of the United States makes it extremely touchy and downright slippery for Akufo-Addo to take any brash and/or abrupt stance on this decidedly difficult foreign-policy matter."
".....,Akufo-Addo needs to consult with the Mahama government, perhaps even more appropriately with Ghana's Parliament, before issuing any major policy position or formal protest on the decision."
So where is Nana Akufo-Addo's leadership, stance on foreign matters, national security and political principles if the NPP that he leads could engage in 'politics of condemnation' whereas he remains curiously silent?
It's clear from the moment this news broke about Mahama's government decision to help re-settle the two former Guantanamo detainees in Ghana, that Ghana's Parliament wasn't consulted or was kept in the dark about this deal. So, Akufo-Addo knows Parliament wasn't consulted. He can speak now! President Mahama's government took a decision which is deeply concerning among the public, and greeted with condemnation from all quarters and yet you expect Mahama's government to be somehow truthful with Akufo-Addo on whatever deal it struck with the Obama Administration? Yea right, President Mahama would show Akufo-Addo the money!
After all if Nana Akufo-Addo doesn't want to upset the United States because it such a global superpower, then morally why should President Mahama be condemned if his government was approached by the United States?
You Dr Okoampa-Ahoofe launched series of blistering attacks on President Mahama as being 'Muslim-Terrorist-sympathiser', yet you turn round to cover Nana Akufo-Addo's pusillanimity and hypocrisy with such emollient nonsense!

I will take it from a different angle to evaluate the capacity of Nana Addo in making good judgement. To begin with,Nana Addo ia a Human Rights lawyer,he has worked with the United Nation sometime ago.Ghana is also a signatory of Universal Human Rights Declaration.Nana Addo should have been the first person to congratulate Prez Mahama on this Human Rights issue but for now he has lost it entirely. This confirms his incapacity to take rapid good decisions as we have had in many cases. In short,NPP must evaluate the leadership style of Nana Addo and Bawumia right now before it's too late.Thank you.
